Your Questions About Nintendo Ds Lite

Thomas asks…

Can I Play nintendo DS Games On My Nintendo DS Lite?

I just bought a Nintendo Lite. But most of the games I am seeing that I really like are nintendo ds. Can I Play Nintendo ds games on my Nintendo ds lite?
Thanks!

Mac answers:

YES!
You can play ds and game boy advance. I know it gets kind of confusing. But if you have any questions about the Nintendo ds lite. Just google it, you will get a lot of information. You can also get it on the Nintendo web site.

Hope this helps!

Kali :-)

Lizzie asks…

What color of Nintendo ds Lite makes the screen look the clearest?

What color of Nintendo ds lite makes the screen look the clearest?
My dad has bad eyes and therefor I’m trying to find the best color. I think the different colors of Nintendo DS have a certain impact on the screen. Correct me if I’m wrong, but I think a black NDS gives the clearest view. I would like to hear your experiences if you had the opportunity to compare different colors.
Thanks guys!

Mac answers:

The darker colors only contrast with the screen more than lighter colors making the screen seem brighter. Other wise it doesn’t matter.

George asks…

Can a nintendo ds lite play gameboy games?

I just got a nintendo ds lite for 10.00 was that a good deal? And i saw some cheap gameboy games and nintendo DS games can my Nintendo ds lite play the gameboy ones?

Mac answers:

Yes, if your DS works, you got a dang good deal. As for gameboy games. It can play game boy advance games, but not game boy classic or game boy color. The gameboy advance games are smaller than the classic and color games. Hope this helps you.

Your Questions About Nintendo Accessories

Ruth asks…

What are some nintendo ds lite accessories I should get?

I am getting a nintendo ds lite real soon and already bought a screen protector from HORI. I just wanted to know other accessories that would be resourceful or useful and please tell me which is the best brand for that specific accessory. Thank You! :)

Mac answers:

There are some cool carrying cases that come with slots to put your games inside. You can also get different “pens” for it as well as a car charger if you travel alot. There are some wipes to clean the screen and some covers for the actual system.

David asks…

I have recently purchased Wii Fit. Are there any Nintendo officially licensed accessories for Wii Fit?

I strongly feel that since the Nintendo Wii is a system by Nintendo, that Nintendo itself would make the best accessories for Wii games, having the very highest standards, most reliable control, etc.
Damaging the board is one of my concerns, but not the only one. I want the very best Wii Fit accessories and having “official” Nintendo products feels good, you know?

Mac answers:

Well it does not matter if its licensed or not, the gear for wii fit is usually a place mat, a silicone cover, water bottle and dumbbells with handles.,, so it cant really damage the board

Betty asks…

Nintendo Video Games?

I saw the games coming out for the 3DS and Wii, so I need a little help. If you were to pick out of Kid Icarus Uprising, The Legend of Zelda Skyward Sword, Kirby’s Epic Yarn, Nintendogs + Cats or The Legend of Zelda Ocarina of Time Remake, what would you choose and why? (Or would you rather get an older game, The Legend of Zelda Wind Waker for GameCube?) Also, do you think the controls for the Skyward Sword will suck because the Wii remote won’t be able to accurately sense the Wii remote?

Thanks!

Mac answers:

I would get the Legend of Zelda Skyward Sword. I was looking at some of the videos of the game and it looks amazing. And when some of the people in the video were playing it, they were talking about how simple the controls are, how you can get to your items very easily, and they liked how easy it was to control the sword. And the Wii remote accuracy won’t be a problem in this game, according to the hundreds of people who played or tried it. This is one game that I am looking forward to buying.

Now the 3DS is something that I would definitely get next. The graphics are amazing. But I would get the Zelda Ocarina of Time, before the Kid Icarus Uprising. The Kid Icarus Uprising looks like a good game, but I thought that Zelda Ocarina of Time was one of the best games made for N64, so I know for sure that this game won’t be a downer.

So I would choose The Legend of Zelda Skyward Sword first, then the Ocarina of Time Remake, then the last one would be the Kid Icarus Uprising.

Donald asks…

Can playing video games on a lcd television cause damage to it?

I am looking for a thin television that doesn’t take up as much room as a traditional tube tv and do not want to spend the $$ on it if it will get ruined because my kids will be playing video games on it often. We have a nintendo wii system.

Mac answers:

No, Not if you keep it unpaused. If you keep it paused, make sure the screen is still moving and stuff, because the liquid crystals will get stuck in place, and you will have the image stuck there for quite a while. It wont, but be smart with it. Like with me and my dads, when im not playing the game, i have to pause it, and put it so the TV is on, so it doesnt make the screen stay the same. Easily avoidable, but easily breakable.

George asks…

Are my kids too young for a nintendo DS?

Hi, im a 19 year old mother of 4; Daisey (3) Ryder (2) Hope (1) and my little baby Max. My kids adore spongebob and legos and barbies and everything. They usually play playstation and video games with me or bythemself. They really love games. My oldest daughter, Daisey is really good and usually plays alot with her barbies and is a really good girl. Ryder is really hyper but is calmed down when he plays video games. I don’t know if i should get daisey and ryder a PSP or nintendo or maybe even a different game sort of thing. And maybe even Hope a little baby game sort of learning thing. But i heard that kids playing video games at a young age could develope learning problems or other problems. Do you think i should get one for them. They’re begging me for one and it would probably calm them down and keep them busy when there crazy and im stressed out and maybe it could really help. But idk if they would break it and drop it and cost me money. Cuz im not good with money now. Or maybe loose the game. and i dont want the,m to loose the chips or not know how to play it and break it. Do u think they’re too young? if so is there anything else i could get them to keep them busy???? Also if i do get them a nintendo, what games would be really fun and easy and good for them? Please answer this question. Oh and please answer my other questions too. PLEASE> thanx!! And why isnt anyone on right now???

Mac answers:

Can they read? All DS games I’ve seen require at least a 1st grade skill in reading. The games are tiny, tiny things, my sister and I have lost several of them! DS’s are easy to break, as well.

Maybe a Wii, and you could all play something like sports or music together. I’ve seen a few children’s learning games for on some playstations, I don’t remember.

Video games are brilliant in teaching hand-eye coordination and problem-solving skills.
